Pyramid of Balance

I’ve been reading the Hathor Material. What an awesome little book! I love it and would recommend it to everyone who has an interest in themselves.

I had a load of “ahah!” moments with the HM; it clicked with much of the other stuff I was learning about in the past year. One of the biggest “ahah!” moment came when I got to Chapter 5. The Pyramid of Balance. Now consider a tetrahedron (four-sided pyramid) that contains a spiral inside it. The spiral symbolizes the ascension process, although sometimes it could also be a “descension,“ a downward spiral so to speak. When all of the four corners are progressing and moving up, the bottom of the pyramid also moves and the entire structure shifts upward. When only three corners are being pushed upward, eventually the bottom of the pyramid will fall out and the structure complete with the spiral within it will topple.

Each corner of the pyramid represents an aspect vital to achieving a balanced higher state of awareness. Literally, the four cornerstones of your existence.

  1. One’s relationship to one’s physical body and the other subtle bodies including the Ka.
  2. One’s relationships with oneself and others.
  3. One’s relationship to the service one gives to the Universe, to the world, to one’s community – which often takes the form of career, though not always or exclusively.
  4. One’s conscious relationship with the sacred elements that make up the world in which one lives. For you on Earth these Sacred Elements are: earth, fire, water and air (space).

I found the fourth point to be of particular interest. It’s the Four Directions! The Hathors say that each of the Sacred Elements are in their own a conscious being. It is because of these four conscious beings that this physical world can exist at all. To establish a relationship with the Sacred Elements or Four Directions as they are one and the same, you must genuinely want to meet them and all aspects of them, including those aspects that reside inside you. For example, the fire in your body; each one of your cells a tiny sun that has its own solar system of planets. The air that is in your lungs, the air that you breathe in from without, the air that enables earthlings to exist, the air that surrounds you, and the air that you swim in when you move through space. The water that is the circulatory system of the earth, the arteries and veins in your body, the emotional water, one and the same. The earth that decompose our bones, the earth that is solid and provides foundation, the earth that provides shelter of rocks…. one and the same.

To Attend to the Four Cornerstones

  1. Nurture and strengthen the physical body and your relationship to it.
  2. Become aware of and strengthen your relationship to your own truth and to your truthfulness with others.
  3. Strengthen your relationship to your work and to the opportunities for service.
  4. Strengthen your relationship to the Sacred Elements that comprise your physical body and the entire Earth plane’s reality.
