En Route to Spain

After a week of packing up, cleaning up, and dealing with some obviously overweight luggages, I spent the majority of my time on the SFO-LHR flight practicing a exercise I learned from L. Below are my notes on this exercise, but I am not teaching this to you, as I’m not qualified nor ready to. Just sharing information. Please don’t try this at home.

Hello Hands

  1. Imagine a little eye inside your palms open.
  2. Let a little laser come out and say hello to your body.
  3. Let hand say hello to the body.
  4. Let body say hello to hand.
  5. Let body and hand say hello to each other, meeting somewhere in between…. you don’t know where.

Important things to keep in mind are:

  1. It’s NOT about healing. It’s a meeting between the hands and whatever body part needed attention.
  2. Keep the laser thin and gentle.
  3. Don’t try too hard. It should be an attempt at the softest, kindest of hellos, as if you are greeting a tender new born baby.
  4. You are facilitating a truthful meeting.
  5. Sympathetic relationship.

I did still have a sore back for a couple of days after landing in MAD. But, it could’ve been much worse. And, after Armando gave me a very loving 30 minute lower back massage, my back felt better than ever before, even better than new. The fantastic outcome is certainly a combination of all of the above.
